Stella McCartney is making a major splash in Japan! The British designer has teamed up with Isetan, one of Tokyo’s most iconic department stores, for an exciting new venture that includes an exclusive sneaker release, a vibrant pop-up, and a powerful message about sustainability.

One of the biggest highlights? McCartney has dropped a sleek black version of her Rasant sneaker in collaboration with Adidas, available only at Isetan. To make things even more special, she’s personally signing pairs for lucky customers—how cool is that?

But that’s not all. If you’re strolling past Isetan, you’ll see Stella McCartney’s spring 2025 collection proudly displayed in the department store’s famous windows. The collection carries an important message: "Save What You Love," reinforcing McCartney’s commitment to eco-friendly fashion.

Inside Isetan, a dedicated Stella McCartney pop-up is giving fans a closer look at her latest designs, blending sustainability with her signature chic aesthetic.

McCartney’s Japan trip isn’t just about retail—she’s also supporting the next generation of fashion talent. She recently visited Bunka Fashion College as a judge for the "Mitsukoshi Isetan Mirai Award — Colour of the Future." This competition encourages students from top Tokyo fashion schools to work with deadstock fabrics provided by Yamazawa Press, promoting sustainability in design.

The winning student will face a tough (but exciting!) choice: a $20,000 cash prize or a commercial partnership with Levi’s Japan or Isetan. On top of that, their work will be showcased in Isetan’s famous Shinjuku windows in April, and they’ll be flown to Paris Fashion Week in October to see McCartney’s show firsthand. Talk about an unforgettable experience!

As if that weren’t enough, Stella McCartney has even bigger plans for Japan. She’s set to open two brand-new concept stores—one in Shibuya Parco and another at Umeda Hankyu—solidifying her growing presence in the country.

McCartney’s latest Tokyo takeover proves she’s not just about fashion; she’s about making a difference, inspiring young designers, and pushing sustainability forward. Japan, get ready—Stella’s here to stay!
