Hey Talkers— if you love Western vibes, handcrafted goods, or just a good old-fashioned stroll through a historic district packed with charm, you’re going to want to hear this: according to WWD, two major lifestyle brands are opening their first-ever Texas stores right in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards. Yep, this historic spot is becoming the destination for Fort Worth Stockyards shopping — and we are so here for it.

First Up: Will Leather Goods

Let’s start with Will Leather Goods, the brand known for beautiful, rugged, handcrafted leather bags, accessories, and lifestyle gear. They've been testing the waters with a pop-up shop in the Stockyards since last fall, but clearly, the vibes were too good to leave. That temporary setup is officially becoming a permanent location, with the full store opening this June.

According to CEO William Adler, the Fort Worth Stockyards was a no-brainer: “This place champions our core values,” he said — and it makes sense. Will Leather Goods is all about timeless quality, craftsmanship, and a love of the American West. It’s a match made in buttery-soft leather heaven.

Then There’s Pendleton – Yes, That Pendleton

If you know anything about classic American style, you know Pendleton Woolen Mills. This legendary brand has been weaving high-quality wool blankets, flannels, and jackets for over 150 years, and now they're making their Texas debut right here in Fort Worth — opening their very first Lone Star State location this May.

Pendleton’s retail director, Peggy Denfeld, said they’ve been watching the Stockyards evolve and are impressed by its “growth and vibrancy.” Basically, the brand sees Fort Worth as a place where tradition meets trend — and they want in.

Why the Fort Worth Stockyards?

If you haven’t been lately, the Fort Worth Stockyards have had a serious glow-up. It’s not just a tourist spot anymore — it’s become a full-blown shopping, dining, and cultural destination. The whole area is being redeveloped by Stockyards Heritage Development Co., which is turning old mule barns into must-see boutiques, cool restaurants, cozy office spaces, and luxe digs like the Hotel Drover (yes, it’s that hotel you saw all over Instagram).

With neighbors like Lucchese, King Ranch Saddle Shop, Boot Barn, and M.L. Leddy’s, both Will Leather Goods and Pendleton are sliding into the perfect retail lineup. It’s giving classic cowboy meets modern cool, and we’re obsessed.
