Whew! Fashion Week was a whole experience—nonstop shows, crazy energy, and, of course, some serious LEWKS. If you’ve ever wondered what really goes down during NYFW and how to get your foot in the door, you’re in the right place.

So, boom. The week kicked off with Introspective Innovations Fashion Week x ForbesBLK, where I got to moderate some FIRE discussions with industry professionals who are really shaking up the industry. From behind-the-scenes madness to last-minute outfit changes (because, duh, fashion), it was giving old-school NYFW vibes—where you actually connect with designers and hear the stories behind their pieces.
Then, there was SU X Jus10H NYFW, which was literally a full-on pageant and runway show in one. Models, celebs, influencers—it was a whole scene. And, not to brag, but I even left with a custom look straight from the collection. Justin Haynes, THANK YOU!
And let’s talk about The ROOM x Shopify—a luxury fashion pop-up that lowkey turned into a masterclass on how to actually make money in fashion. Because let’s be real, looking good is great, but getting PAID to do what you love? Even better.
Finally, we wrapped it all up with B&H Creators Content Chic, a dope event for content creators. The whole night was just good vibes, free drinks, and dope collabs. (Also, I may or may not have walked out with a bunch of camera gear and beauty products .)
