Inside Look: The Unforgettable Night at SU X Jus10H NYFW Honoring Justin Haynes

New York Fashion Week is always an event to remember, but this year’s Supermodel Unlimited Mag’s SU X Jus10H NYFW: The Limitless Show was truly exceptional. The event, honoring Justin Haynes, the visionary designer behind Jus10H, is more like a pageant than a traditional runway show, showcasing young and teenage models alongside seasoned supermodels.

The anticipation was palpable from the moment I arrived at 10 AM. Models were already in the final stages of hair and makeup, a clear sign they had been prepping for hours. The level of dedication behind the scenes was incredible. I was escorted upstairs to Justin’s private dressing suite, where he was meticulously selecting pieces and preparing for his models' grand entrance.

Taking a moment to explore the backstage energy, I documented each station's purpose in my video coverage. Every detail in hair, makeup, and styling was meticulously curated, offering an insider’s look into the intricate world of fashion week preparation. One of the most surprising elements of the morning was Justin conducting a last-minute practice run with his models—dressed in denim and green, the season’s standout color, setting the stage for what was to come.

As showtime approached, I headed upstairs to change into my look for the red carpet. Meanwhile, the venue’s main space—initially used for hair and makeup—was swiftly transformed into the grand runway entrance. This efficient use of space is a common practice, reducing the need for additional backstage areas, although some shows opt for designated beauty sections to minimize last-minute chaos.

Once the doors opened, the energy surged. The runway was a who’s who of teen and reality TV stars, with Marshall Glaze from Love Is Blind Season 4 as the red carpet host—and even modeling himself! The night kicked off with lively red carpet interviews, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to speak with Justin about his collection. Guests enjoyed an open bar featuring Manhattans and espresso martinis, as they settled in for the evening’s showcase.

Though I didn’t stay for the full pageant segment, I made sure to witness Justin Haynes’ breathtaking collection in its entirety. His signature craftsmanship and attention to detail never fail to impress. His designs were a stunning blend of structure and fluidity, proving once again why he remains a staple in the fashion industry.

The night ended on an unexpected high note—I was gifted the very outfit I wore on the red carpet! What was originally meant to be a top was styled as a skirt, along with a chic pant necklace. I also took home denim pants and a green tweed skirt, a beautiful memento from an unforgettable evening as Justin’s main influencer covering all the behind-the-scenes action.

While fashion week is about glamour and artistry, many people don’t realize the immense cost and effort required to bring a show like this to life. Stay tuned for my next blog post, where we’ll delve into the financial realities of producing a runway show and the behind-the-scenes logistics that make NYFW possible.

Until next time, fashion lovers!
