Big changes are happening at Dazed! IB Kamara, the creative powerhouse behind some of the magazine’s most iconic covers, is stepping down as editor-in-chief. After four years of pushing boundaries and elevating fresh voices in fashion, Kamara is handing over the reins. IB Kamara final issue will drop in June, marking the end of an era for Dazed.

Kamara took on the role in 2021 and made a massive impact. His time at Dazed was all about blending fashion, music, film, and sports, bringing together stars like Rihanna, Harry Styles, Rosalía, Dua Lipa, and A$AP Rocky on the magazine’s covers. More than just a tastemaker, he championed bold storytelling and fresh perspectives, making Dazed a must-read for creatives everywhere.

But Kamara isn’t the only one leaving. His team—including art director Gareth Wrighton and editorial director Kacion Mayers—will also be stepping down in June. In a heartfelt statement, Kamara expressed gratitude to Dazed’s leadership and his colleagues, saying, “I am so proud of my team and all the collaborators I have worked with on the pages of Dazed. I’ll be forever honored to have been among the creative leaders of this iconic platform.”

So, what’s next for Dazed? As of now, the magazine hasn’t announced Kamara’s successor, but whoever takes over has some big shoes to fill. One thing’s for sure: Dazed will continue to be a launchpad for innovation, just as it has been since its inception.

As for Kamara’s next move? He’s already a major force in fashion as Off-White’s Art and Image Director, so we can only imagine what exciting projects he has lined up.

Stay tuned for more updates as Dazed enters its next chapter!
